Peraton is seeking Project Manager / Business Systems Analyst with solid experience to provide government expertise in all areas of project management and business systems analysis to include Enterprise Demand forecasting and deployment management as it relates to the agency processes. As Project Manager / Business Systems Analyst of a large Federal program, you will engage with IT Financial Management Services with the objective of streamlining processes between IT and other business units, modify agency-provided investment evaluation criteria, obtain agency management approval of modifications, and maintain the investment evaluation criteria. What you'll do: Work independently or as a member of a project team responsible for providing financial guidance related to technical business processes for various systems.Perform in-depth analysis of ITs aged infrastructure (hardware & software), forecasting future funding demand ($$s), prioritization of aged assets, recommendations to achieve ITs aged infrastructure metric while proactively elevating risks. Expertise with the tools required to deliver the results described.Assemble spreadsheets (pivot tables) and visuals to illustrate technical reports.Engage with IT Financial Management Services with the objective of streamlining processes for different business units.Work with other IT entities to streamline the investment management processes as they relate to aged infrastructure.Examine and recommend improvements to aged infrastructure budget allocation line items.Validate IT asset Verification and Validation, including analysis of the appropriate Post Implementation Reviews meet GAO standards.Provide technical support to apply the investment evaluation criteria to rank infrastructure investment opportunities and develop supporting rationale.Enhance the operational definitions (criteria) of O and Development Modernization and Enhancement (DME).Support training of internal agency staff member(s) on the financial aspects related to aged infrastructure.Prepare Investment Strategy Mapping Model, including development of an accepted 'refresh' budget, an obsolescence asset budget, and a roadmap for management of identified asset backlogs.As a part of technical financial support, the selected candidate will apply investment evaluation criteria to rank infrastructure investment opportunities and develop supporting rationale.Be a champion of change by continuously evaluating the FMS asset Infrastructure Lifecycle processes and make recommendations that can be incorporated with agency standards.Create and update financial related documentation as necessary.Demonstrate skill of complex problem solving, negotiation, and deductive reasoning.Instrumental in helping clients minimize or eliminate financial risks that could be detrimental towards business goals.Facilitate the communication of financial terminology at a level appropriate to the audience and lead meetings.Support the team to reduce security risk by addressing the vulnerabilities associated with running outdated infrastructure.Support the development of the enterprise-wide framework for forecasting and mitigating risk associated with aged hardware.Work with team members on the approach IT will follow to manage or retire aged hardware and upgrade, remove, or replace software to increase long-term sustainability.As a team member, you will aid in activities related to achieving strategic IT infrastructure goals and provide information on the Modernization and Technology Planning (MTP): operations, processes, procedures, and governance.Must be comfortable with maintaining large Excel spreadsheets of infrastructure data that will support senior management with making actionable decisions.Collect financial and technical infrastructure data from internal teams.Candidate will participate in weekly and bi-weekly Action Item report meetings.Candidate will participate with the Replacement Cost analysis for sustainable infrastructure.Evaluate exiting infrastructure analysis and give feedback to team.Outline any operational challenges and aid efforts to mitigate potential risks.Provide financial & operational analysis on a regular basis to team members.Support the development of financial and aged infrastructure reports. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications:Requires a Bachelor's degree with 8-10 years of relevant work experience, OR a Master's degree 6 to 8 years of relevant work experience, or a 12 years relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate to audiences with varied technical backgrounds.Requires expert-level Excel and PowerPoint user.Must be well organized and agile to support multiple projects with short deadlines.Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident for three years (Green card holder) to obtain an attain MBI clearance or possess active MBI clearance. For Colorado Residents: Colorado Salary Minimum: $74,000 Colorado Salary Maximum: $179,600 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees.
