Responsibilities: Technica is seeking a Graphic Designer to support our team. As a Graphic Designer, you will design and produce visually-appealing presentations, and graphics in accordance with RFP's and general corporate communication products, which identifies the most effective way to get messages across in print and electronic media using color, type, illustration, photography, animation, and various print and layout techniques. The ideal candidate will be able to develop design concepts that can take very technical and abstract concepts and deliver a full range of digital and print collateral, infographics, presentations, and various publications. This position also supports the Marketing and Human Resources team in designing promotional displays, marketing brochures, material for webpages and interactive media, and various social media campaigns relating to job advertisements, solution briefs and blogs. Additionally, this role will assist with the design of internal newsletters, award campaigns and other employee engagement initiatives, while working in a PC environment.This position will be a combination of telework and in-office work with the specifics being determined with the manager and selected candidate. When in-office candidate will report to Technica's Corporate location in Dulles, VA. Key Responsibilities:Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams for a wide range of materials that may include advertising and marketing/HR materials, web pages, presentations, signage, internal communication, newsletters.Support the proposal team with designs that effectively communicate Technica's vision, capabilities and overall value through compelling cover designs and complex technical graphics and illustrations.Blend photography, imagery, infographics, text, and multimedia elements to create high-impact technical proposal graphics and presentations.Develop, manage, and format lifecycle proposal graphics.Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity to create corporate awareness, attract talent and reinforce employee engagement initiatives supporting Marketing & Human Resources teams.Conceptualize and develop complex graphics and illustrations using industry standard graphics software packages.Ensure all deadlines are met with high-quality product.Research market trends and incorporate industry best practices in the designs and creatives produced. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher in a creative design field and/or equivalent education and experience5+ years of graphic design experience, to include creating complex technical graphics for proposalsCompelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects and visual media including logos, infographics, posters, brochures, displays, etc.Proficient in developing creative campaigns for social mediaProficient with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically: Illustrator, InDesign, PhotoshopProficient in MS Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and WordWorking knowledge of WordPress and other online technology and web-based tools for website updates and new online creative.Works well independently while working on multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent eye for detail Desired: Understanding of information technology services and Department of Defense and Federal Government market.Excellent written and oral communication skills.
