The Assistant Director will be responsible for assisting the Associate Director in developing, monitoring and evaluating best practices for the successful delivery of projects. Responsibilities will include providing overall coordination of all QA inspection activities for multiple, small and large-scale construction projects for UMD College Park and UMD Service Center Schools. Position is also responsible for directly supervising QA Manager & On-Site Construction Representative staff, including both general construction and mechanical/electrical specialists with responsibility for the alignment and allocation of project workload to staff. Travel throughout the state is required.
