The Facilities Supervisor/Architect shall plan, develop, and implement building modification designs in support of the Navy at Strategic Systems Programs Headquarters (SPPHQ).

Responsibilities

Work you'll do

As a Facilities Supervisor/Architect within our US Navy SP16 team, you will:
  • Provide configuration control for facility modifications and maintain the digital floor plans with updates/configuration revisions posted on SP16 shared drives.
  • Provide and maintain facility-related documents throughout the contract period posted on SP16 shared drive.
  • Provide immediate reaction in preparing briefings, white papers, issue papers, and point papers on facility technical and programmatic issues.
  • Assist with identifying changes and new requirements for space modifications, reconfigurations, and new furniture, or relocated furniture.
  • Prepare reconfiguration drawings to record modifications and modification drawings to reflect proposed changes.
  • Develop a record of changes spreadsheet for the revision history of Building WNY-200 floors 3-5 and Building WNY-210 floors 1-4.
  • Maintain updated Building WNY-200 display plans for floor 3-5.
  • Maintain updated Building WNY-210 display plans for floor 1-4.
  • Assist in the revision of form DD1450 and Space Requirements Data, as necessary.
  • Responsible for timely completion and submission of contract deliverables.
  • Provide technical and administrative support in the investigation, analysis, and resolution of all facilities sustainment projects and future facility related initiatives, including facility planning, design, document production, and project administration for the execution of facilities related projects.
  • Provide administrative, professional, and technical support in the investigation, analysis, and resolution of facility-related environmental issues.
  • Assist in the development of facilities requirements, technical briefs, and acquisition documentation, including but not limited to supply requests, DD Form 1450, scopes of work, work schedules, and sequencing plans for the mitigation of mission impact.
  • Provide interim space planning and rollout support for new program office.
  • Develop and deliver for approval, facilities corner information for website, newsletter, and all-hands drafts for all facility issues.
  • Complete annual company and customer training requirements according to established policies and procedures.
  • Record labor hours daily in online corporate system.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Associate degree OR
  • High school diploma or GED with 2+ additional years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of architectural experience required
  • 1+ years of experience with CAD software for architecture and construction
  • Background check required with the ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance
  • The position requires a COVID vaccination or an approved accommodation/exemption for a disability/medical condition or religious belief

Required:
  • Advanced knowledge of formatting, processing, and records maintenance for official documents.
  • Must have advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Excel.
  • Ability to facilitate mature and independent judgment and initiative.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team to be highly responsive.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and professionalism under pressure.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with ability to switch priorities quickly as needs change.
  • Ability to multi-task in a high stress, performance-based environment.
  • Ability to establish priorities and meet established deadlines.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% as required.
