Summary

The MIL Corporation is seeking an Engineering, Analyst (Electrical Engineer) who is a motivated technical thinker, to serve as an Electrical Engineer supporting tasks involving system concept formulation, system, requirements analysis, subsystem and interface design, software and/or hardware development, test and evaluation planning and execution, installation support, and field service support of multiple C4IS communications equipment, systems, and subsystems.

Responsibilities
  • Conducts system and subsystem engineering analysis and captures system and external interface requirements.
  • Assists in development of preliminary and comprehensive system architecture, conducts market research and trade studies, and designs subsystems for various military platform communication systems.
  • Performs integration, test/evaluation, and installation engineering for electronic equipment/systems and subsystems both at MIL and at the customer site.
  • Assists in development of documentation for test plans, test procedures, and test reports.
  • Performs sustainment planning, fielding validation, and verification testing, production engineering planning, risk assessment, and technical resolution.
  • Assists cybersecurity engineering efforts.

Required Qualifications
  • Three (3) or more years of related experience developing communications systems and related equipment, circuit / wiring diagrams, technical data packages, installation documentation, and test plans/procedures/reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both individually and in a team environment.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office products.
  • Experienced in one or more tools such as Schematic Capture, PCB layout, or other Electrical Engineering simulation and modelling tools.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Per federal guidelines, you may be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or willingness to obtain vaccination

Desired Qualifications
  • Top Secret / SCI clearance.
  • BICSI, CTS, or other technical certification.
  • Experience with UAV systems.
  • Experience with RF systems.
  • Networking certifications (e.g., from CISCO).
  • DoD 8570.01 Level 2 Certification (e.g., Security+), or higher.

Education

Bachelor's Degree, from an accredited college or university, in electrical engineering, computer engineering or a closely related discipline. Six (6) years of work experience related to the position, or an Associate's Degree plus four (4) years of additional work experience related to the position, may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.

Clearance

All applicants for this position must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; please note that the clearance process considers financial background aspects.
