Summary

The AV/VTC Conference Room Operator will assist in the daily management of DoD site VTC and Conference Room systems.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine performance testing to ensure VTC and other conference room equipment, computer servers, and workstations function properly.
  • Perform setups, adjustments, operations, tests, and shutdowns of equipment in support of VTC sessions.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure availability and reliability.
  • Perform baseline troubleshooting of VTC and conference room equipment.
  • Provide on-site support during standard and/or contractually mandated core business hours.
  • Provide occasional after-hours or off-site local support as requested by the government customer.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as required.
  • Complete annual company and customer training requirements according to established policies and procedures.
  • Record labor hours daily in the online corporate system.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • BA/BS in Business Technology Administration or IT-related field of study OR
  • High school diploma or GED and additional 4+ years of hardware and software support experience.
  • Must have 2+ years of relevant audio video or access control support work experience.
  • COMPTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certification desired.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • TS/SCI clearance required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Must have a working knowledge of AV/VTC operations and understand basic networking.
  • Must have the ability to communicate with others effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Must have the ability to attend all customer in-person meetings and conferences as requested.
  • Ability to multi-task in a high-stress, performance-based environment.
  • Ability to establish priorities and meet established deadlines.
  • Posses strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work nifhtd, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
