Must have MS deg. or for equiv in Biochem, Biomed Eng or rel field + 5 yrs of exp in position offrd, as Scientist, Analytical Dvlpmt Associate or rel. Must have 5 yrs of exp in each of the following: Operating high-end resolution & high mass accuracy mass spectrometers; Using protein bioinformatics s/ware, incl XCalibur, MassLynx, Proteome Discoverer, Biopharma Finder, & Protein Metrics s/ware; Using mass spectrometry methods & techniques; Analytical method dvlpmt & biomolecules characterization w/ chromatographic & electrophoretic techniques; Using Empower & Openlab CDS S/ware to acquire & analyze chromatographic data; Using chromatographic & electrophoretic techniques to dvlp analytical & protein characterization methods; Applying common analytical methods; & Applying moderately complex & advanced chemical concepts, incl determining degradation pathway, molecular properties & critical qlty attributes.
