PdM TENCAP is chartered with the responsibility of executing the Army's Tactical Exploitation of National Capabilities (TENCAP) program. Army TENCAP's mission is to enable the Army to rapidly exploit and influence National capabilities and architectures. Army TENCAP conducts advanced development and rapid prototyping to enhance, inform, and modernize Army capabilities. PdM TENCAP responsibilities include support to Headquarters Department of the Army (HQDA) to maintain connections to national and theater systems, prototype development and transition of technology into Army systems, and acquisition of equipment as directed by the TENCAP General Officer Steering Group (TGOSG) and Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics & Technology) (ASA(ALT)).

Summary:

TheIPS Logistics Managerwill be responsible for ensuring logistics effectiveness by providing operational logistics and IT. TheIPS Logistics Managerwill work to contribute to the development and implementation of logistics operations and prioritization of work to satisfy program deliverables and requirements.

Work you'll do

As an IPS Logistics Manager within our TENCAP team, you will:
  • Provide recommendations and draft documentation for acquisition logistics functions during the development, production, and sustainment phases of the logistics lifecycle for Army TENCAP systems and related components.
  • Provide recommendations and draft documentation for overall configuration management for TENCAP system baselines and evolutionary systems.
  • Shall provide services, including acquisition logistics activities for CONUS/OCONUS delivery, issue and movement of system and material, and Total Package Fielding and training.
  • Follow the integrated product support process to facilitate development and integration of the key product support activities required to acquire, test, field, and support Army TENCAP's materiel and software.
  • Provide data input to the development of required program documentation, like the Lifecycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP), post production product support plan, computer resource lifecycle management plan, level of repair analysis, core depot assessment, and any other documentation required to design, implement, and refine product support strategies.
  • Provide data for the development and refinement of the logistics portions of Army TENCAP program milestone documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information or in related field
  • 7+ years of experience in providing logistics support to the DoD
  • Top secret clearance required with the ability to obtain Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI)
  • The position requires a COVID vaccination or an approved accommodation/exemption for a disability/medical condition or religious belief

    Required:
  • Must have working understanding and experience with closed servers.
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Strong skills (both written and oral), strong customer service, and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to listen and understand what is being described by the end user as well as the ability to explain problem resolutions when necessary.
  • Ability to design and maintain technical and project documentation.
  • Ability to utilize business resources efficiently and effectively.
  • Excellent organizational, presentation, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to identify and solve system engineer issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Ability to occasionally work after hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
