The MIL Corporation is seeking a Software Engineering, Junior Analyst to support tasking involving system concept formulation, system, requirements analysis, subsystem and interface design, software and/or hardware development, test and evaluation planning and execution, installation support, and field service support of audio and visual (A/V) and Radio Frequency (RF) Broadcast communications equipment, systems, and subsystems for C4IS solutions.

  • Performs A/V control system code, A/V Touch panel interface, and RF Broadcast User Interface (UI) design and development.
  • Generates and updates system control, touch panel, and UI code as applicable, during the development and fielding of communications systems.
  • Conducts system and subsystem engineering analysis and captures system and external interface requirements.
  • Assists in development of preliminary and comprehensive system architecture, conducts market research and trade studies, and designs subsystems for various military platform communication systems.
  • Assists in development of software design documentation.
  • Generates code and/or hardware configurations, as applicable, during the development and fielding of the communications system.
  • Performs integration, test/evaluation, and installation engineering for electronic equipment/systems and subsystems both at MIL and at the customer site.
  • Assists in development of documentation for Test and Evaluation Master Plans and Information Assurance approval documentation.
  • Performs sustainment planning, fielding validation, and verification testing, production engineering planning, risk assessment, and technical resolution.
  • Assists cybersecurity engineering efforts during the Inception, Elaboration, Construction, and Transition phases.

Required Qualifications
  • Zero (0) to Three (3) years of related experience developing user interface and application software.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both individually and in a team environment.
  • Experienced in typically UI languages such as C#, JavaScript, Python, XML, and HTML & CSS.
  • Knowledge of databases such as MS-SQL, MySQL, and Oracle.
  • Proficient in Visual Studio, Git, and Database managers.
  • Experience with C++ and Java.
  • Per federal guidelines, you may be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or willingness to obtain vaccination

Desired Qualifications
  • Top Secret / SCI clearance.
  • Experience in generalized programming languages.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time


Bachelor's Degree, from an accredited college or university, in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, network engineering, information systems, cyber security, management information systems technology or a closely related discipline. Six (6) years of work experience related to the position, or an Associate's Degree plus four (4) years of additional work experience related to the position, may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
