Awarded in August 2021 to the Parsons Team, the TEAMS next Missile Defense Systems Engineering contract has a three-year base period plus four one-year options that should take the period of performance through the end of 2028 into 2029. The primary purpose of this contract is to provide outstanding systems engineering services vital for MDA mission success at multiple locations around the world. Responsibilities
Work you'll do
As a Principal Systems Analyst within our TEAMS Next Missile Defense Systems Engineering team, you will:
- Provide expert technical advice to the customer on planning, maturating, integrating, testing, and execution programs
- Provide direct support to the government customer in overseeing the progress of integration and demonstration efforts
- Conduct evaluation and analysis to the government customer
- Support live tests and demonstrations
- Provide feedback and recommendation in technical interchange meetings
- Interact with cross-service and agency entities to enable innovative solutions for technology to the field
- Provide technical papers and briefings to the government customer
- Review of information on threat and state-of-the-art technologies relevant to missile defense mission success, support technical interactions, support advanced technology integration, and demonstration into operational environments.
- Know and understand operations in special programs, understand joint-service C2, identify promising emerging technologies for transition into Missile Defense System to close gaps and counter emerging threats and provide support to leadership and external briefings.
Qualifications
Required:
- BS/BA degree, preferably in STEM discipline
- 10+ years experience in advanced technology integration and maturation in Special Program environments
- Understanding of operational and test networks and approvals to leverage the infrastructure to participate in operational integration and demonstration
- An advanced knowledge of operational and non-operational cross-service C2 software applications
- Strong understanding of cross-service C2 software services and message formatting
- Understanding of requirements to C2 cross-service, cross-domain, and in multi-level security environments from beginning to end; security, requirements, networks, information assurance approvals, software service interactions, formats, track management and de-confliction, etc.
- Ability to perform the duties of a Program Integrator managing available resources, coordination of POAMs, integrated schedules, government requirements, contractor dependencies, risk mitigation, defining objective, and post test evaluation and analysis
- Ability to foster effective approaches with Operator-in-the-Loop of service development to accelerate technology maturation
- Ability to work effectively and communicate with team members and end users on technical and non-technical subjects
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Current TS/SCI required
