Adventist HealthCare Fort Washington Medical Center seeks to hire a Supervisor, Medical Staff Services for our Medical Staff Office who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Supervisor, Medical Staff Services you will:
•Be responsible for the coordination/processing of all applications for credentialing/recredentialing of practitioners to the Medical Staff and Advanced Practice Professional Staff, in accordance with TJC, NCQA, and other regulatory standards.
•Evaluate credentialing and privileging information to identify potential performance issues.
•Monitor expiring documentation as well as facilitating compliance with OPPE and FPPE processes to ensure compliance with hospital policies, state law, and regulatory bodies.
•Collaborate with the director to determine actions necessary to resolve issues. Communicate with a wide variety of internal/external customers.
•Inputs and maintains practitioner data in MSOW credentialing system. Assists with audits of credentials files by managed care organizations.
•Coordinate the administration, scheduling and minute taking for a variety of Medical Staff meetings, seminars, or conferences.
•Coordinate the planning and logistical arrangements for special events. Manages the day-to-day operations of the office independently, maintaining a high quality for detail and timeliness.

Qualifications include:
• Associates degree or higher education preferred (or equivalent combination of education, training and experience).
•Minimum of three years' experience in confidential health care/credentialing position and/or three years' experience in a related field.
•Minimum of two years' experience in a supervisory capacity, preferred.
•Certified in CPCS or CPMSM preferred or Completion of National Association of Medical Staff Services (NAMSS) certification in Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or CPMSM within five years of working in an acute care hospital credentialing role.

Work Schedule:

This position is scheduled for a 40 hour work week. After 120 days, the position is eligible for a Hybrid work arrangement.

Medical Staff Meetings are held in the evenings. The candidate must be able to support these meetings in an administrative capacity.
