Sr. Manager, Structuring and Deal Management

Key Responsibilities:
  • Part of the team responsible for structuring and quantitative analysis on loan and term FIG transactions for balance sheet and capital markets executions.
  • Collaborate with various internal and external constituencies including relationship management, credit risk, underwriting, portfolio management and capital markets in pitching, facilitating and optimizing warehouse and term transactions
  • Focus on quantitative analytics and cash flow modeling in identification of risks and development and optimization of structures and enhancement for both on balance sheet and debt securities transactions
  • Intense collateral performance data analysis of consumer and/or commercial asset classes
  • Present analysis to RMs in conjunction with UWPM
  • Assist Structuring Head in creation and development analytical approaches and tools to promote and refine the expansion of existing FIG LOBs and introduction into new areas


Basic Qualifications:
  • At least 7 years of experience in financial services, sell-side banking, buy-side investing, corporate financial planning, corporate consulting or data analytics
  • At least 3 years of experience in securitized cash flow modeling or model development with a data science background as related to consumer or commercial borrower/customer behavior


Preferred Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience at bulge bracket institutions, consulting firms, or in similar roles at other institutions
  • Understanding of some combination of various asset classes within securitized products including but not limited to: consumer prime and non-prime auto loan, consumer auto lease, dealer floorplan, consumer unsecured receivables, student loans, timeshare loans, tax-liens, small-ticket and mid-ticket equipment leasing, agency mortgage, non-agency mortgage, reverse mortgage, small business loans, commercial mortgages and leases, aircraft leasing, railcar and container finance, truck leasing, intellectual property rights, whole business, utility stranded cost, leveraged credit, other future flow assets and synthetic securitizations.
  • Ability to identify and learn economic and performance drivers of various securitized asset classes including but not limited to: subprime auto loans, unsecured consumer loans, small-ticket and mid-ticket equipment leases, agency mortgages, timeshare receivables, small business loans, tax liens and leveraged credit Not measurable/subjective language.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Deep knowledge of MS Excel, Visual Basic for Applications
  • Understanding of regulatory capital requirements and impacts on returns on allocated capital
  • Ability to develop modeling tools using MS Excel, Visual Basic
  • Working knowledge of C#/C++, python
  • Series 7, 63 Licenses as registered representative
