Appian is seeking an Insurance Solution Success Manager, which will drive adoption of new Solutions products built on the Appian platform and contribute to new product development within the insurance industry. This role works closely with a Solution Product Owner to communicate the sales, service, and support strategy of Appian insurance solutions internally and externally.

You will contribute to go-to-market, enablement, and development efforts and provide SME knowledge for new insurance products. You will leverage your expertise in industry use cases and buyer personas to uncover avenues for Appian to provide differentiated value. This is a cross-functional role that offers a unique opportunity to build relationships with key stakeholders in every Appian department, engage with the full spectrum of product launch and market adoption initiatives.

This role is based at Appian's Headquarters in McLean, VA. Employees hired for this position will have the opportunity to work in a flexible, hybrid environment.

To be successful in this role, you will:
  • Facilitate execution of solutions strategy across departments, including but not limited to Business Development, Marketing, Sales, Alliances, Customer Success, and solutions Engineering, for development and execution of solution strategy
  • Work with Solution Product Owners to detect and correct any problems with market fit or acceptance (both internal and external)
  • Maintain and disseminate information across organization of both current and upcoming solution features
  • Iterate on the bill of materials created to promote each solution; constantly seek opportunities to improve and expand internal and external messaging
  • Attend and facilitate partner, prospect, analyst and customer meetings and events alongside Solution Owners
  • Collaborate with Marketing on collateral, events, and customer value stories
  • Support Account Executives to oversee and support solution prospects and customers
  • Write Solutions Consulting demo scripts, with input from the Solutions Consulting team
  • Facilitate Partner enablement, training, and selling of Appian solutions
  • Evaluate Partner success in implementing Appian solutions and course correct as needed
  • Work with Solution Owner and Customer Success to standardize delivery processes and onboard new solutions customers
  • Maintain relationships with Customer Success implementation teams to ensure successful solutions implementation and capture feedback for Engineering
  • Support capture opportunities and assist in RFx responses as needed


Basic qualifications:
  • 2+ years of consulting, technology, or strategy experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required
  • Experience in at least one of the following functional areas is required:
    • Direct product management or product marketing experience
    • Experience project managing go-to-market initiatives
    • Industry experience in the target industry as a business analyst, technologist, or consultant who delivered projects into the industry
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to develop concise and effective communications tailored to specific audiences
  • Advanced computer skills including use of Google Drive, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Ability to work independently with limited oversight
