Adventist HealthCare is hiring a Director of Business Development for Post-Acute Services in Rockville, MD who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Director of Business Development, you will:
•Develop, implement and execute the hospital's inpatient, home health and
outpatient growth/business strategy within the organization's strategic
objectives and themes
•Lead the operations of the Post-Acute Care center in order to efficiently and
effectively move patients from AHC acute care hospitals into post-acute care
•Assist in the development, implementation and execution of the hospital's
growth/business strategy to achieve budgeted Admissions and Evaluation
•Ensures high performance of the Post-Acute Care Services center and the
home health, inpatient and outpatient business development teams.
•Develops relationships with referral sources to establish networks that drive
performance and business improvement.
•Collaborate with Public Relations and Marketing department to target and drive
patients, referral sources and the community to use Post-Acute Care services,
through creative and innovative approaches.
•Identify new markets and channels, and establish partnerships for
collaborative growth opportunities.

Qualifications include:
•Requires a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in business, healthcare
administration, or related field from an accredited college or university.
•Preferred: Master's degree in related field
•Two years of developing clinical business strategies or equivalent experience
•Strong leadership and consensus building skills with minimum of five years
supervisory experience in healthcare
•Requires the ability to travel in the service area on a regular basis and beyond
