Summary

The MIL Corporation is seeking a User Support, Senior Analyst (Oracle Service Desk) to work with a Federal client in Washington DC and Arlington VA. The primary requirement for this position is a demonstrated functional understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite and strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities
  • Apply advanced diagnostics techniques to identify functional systems problems, investigate causes and recommend solutions
  • Document, review, troubleshoot, and resolve problems submitted by Oracle E-Business end users.
  • Monitor the software processes that provide the basis for program offices acquiring goods and services.
  • Resolve issues discovered that prevent the acquiring of goods and services.
  • Make recommendations to enhance any and/or all phases of the process.
  • Assist the Agency to execute System Month End Close, Year End Close and Financial Reporting Statements
  • Provide support for Oracle E-Business issue resolution, testing events, modules and customizations workflows, operational and system support, change management, and change request and life cycle of events associated.

Required Qualifications
  • Experience in Oracle E-Business Suite
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Per federal guidelines, you may be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or willingness to obtain vaccination.

Desired Qualifications
  • Specific experience in Oracle Accounts Payable and Purchasing preferred
  • 4 or more years documented experience solving problems associated with Oracle E-Business Suite.
  • Experience with a help desk incident tracking system (i.e., Remedy, ServiceNow).
