Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire a motivated, outstanding Human Resources Coordinator who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.
As an HR Coordinator, you will:
•Support the day-to-day operations of the HR office, particularly in the areas of frontline team member support by phone and e-mail, records management, compliance tracking and reporting, onboarding of all SGMC contract employees, and orientation support.
•Work collaboratively with the HR team to improve the customer service level by assessing and refining processes and programs.
•Perform day-to-day HR functions, to include: answering phones, responding to employee questions, administering various HR initiatives and processes, managing compliance tracking and reporting
•Facilitate contractor onboarding process and support new hire general orientation as needed
•Support file preparation efforts for Joint Commission surveys and other regulatory hospital surveys
•Coordinate and support employee engagement event planning
•Take initiative to improve the service level by assessing processes and
programs and working with the HR team to refine same
•Work collaboratively with the HR team to provide excellent human resources
support across Shady Grove Medical Center
•Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field
•Strong attention to detail
•Outstanding customer service skills
•Self-motivated and willing to take initiative
•Excellent written and oral communication skills
•Strong computer skills, especially MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
