Overview

AARP Services, Inc., founded in 1999, is a wholly-owned taxable subsidiary of AARP. AARP Services manages the provider relationships for and performs quality control oversight of the wide range of products and services that carry the AARP name and are made available by independent providers as benefits to AARP's millions of members. The provider offers currently span health products, financial products, travel and leisure products, and life event services. Specific products include Medicare supplemental insurance; credit cards, auto and home, mobile home and motorcycle insurance, life insurance and annuities; member discounts on rental cars, cruises, vacation packages and lodging; special offers on technology and gifts; pharmacy services and legal services. AARP Services also engages in new product development activities for AARP and provides certain consulting services to outside companies.

As the Integrated Marketing Analyst working as a part of the Media Solutions team in the New York, NY office, you will be a part of a team that responds to a multitude of client requests for advertising opportunities in the AARP Media Advertising Network that generate revenue. You will be responsible for supporting marketing leads and sales with the development of multi-channel marketing campaigns and strategies to achieve varied advertiser objectives and measurable KPIs.

Responsibilities

  • Supports marketing leads by creating proposals, presentations, and other materials (sell sheets, competitive analysis) using product information, data, and media insights.
  • Works with the marketing leads and research associates to develop sales advantages for specific accounts; communicates the research story in presentation/document format.
  • Communicates custom ideas for print, digital and integrated programs through written and visual formats.
  • Supports category sales development including creation, management and maintenance of category-specific sales collateral (i.e. category modules, programs and sell sheets).
  • Provides as-needed support to the marketing and sales departments.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a Bachelor's degree and advertising media experience (print and digital preferred).
  • Understanding of print and digital media and metrics and knowledge of advertising.
  • Must have the ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects concurrently, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to understand syndicated research (analytical/numbers aptitude) and able to communicate findings effectively through presentations and other formatted documents.
  • Technologically savvy, with a high level of proficiency in MS Office Suite with an emphasis on PowerPoint.
  • Excellent writing skills (proposals, presentations, sales collateral). Ability to synthesize complex subjects and to succinctly articulate ideas in written, visual, and spoken word.
  • Critical attention to detail and highly organized.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, proactive, takes initiative and exhibits a "can-do" attitude.
  • Regular and reliable job attendance.

Flexible Work Arrangement (FWA)

AARP observes Mondays and Fridays as telecommuting workdays, except for essential functions. Remote work and telecommuting can only be done within the United States and its territories.
