The MIL Corporation seeks an Operations Specialist whose primary duties include providing reconciliation and tracking of contract actions/funding and related invoices, communication, and administrative services in Charleston, South Carolina. This is a part-time position requiring 20-24 hours per week.


The Operations Specialist will support and maintain a professional relationship with MIL employees and the management team, while performing the duties listed below:
  • Review contract task orders actions and reconcile invoices
  • Manage Timekeeping and Expense related activities
  • Assist with travel planning and expense reporting
  • Develop relationships with staff, management, and contract partners; communicate and support them, as needed
  • Prepare/maintain staffing charts and reconcile staffing chart with contract task orders
  • Demonstrate professionalism, initiative, and leadership
  • Be effective and efficient; strive for continuous improvement
  • Communicate professionally, tactfully, and courteously

Required Qualifications
  • HS Diploma/GED Required; experience may be substituted for a degree
  • Skilled using Microsoft office products
  • Strong organization, planning, and strategic thinking skills
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skill
  • Per federal guidelines, you may be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or willingness to obtain vaccination.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related degree
  • Knowledge of Federal Travel Regulations
  • Knowledge of Procurement and Accounts Payable

HS/GED Required; BA/BS Desired
