Chenega Decision Sciences, LLC has a challenging career opportunity for a Financial Management/Budget Specialist III who will play an important role supporting senior officers and executives (O-6 and above, GS-15 and above) for Air Force Special Access Programs.

Chenega Decision Sciences is a team of empowered individuals collaborating to support the mission of our Department of Defense (DoD) customer. Come join our team of professionals to provide Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution in a classified environment.

Responsibilities

Work you'll do

As a Financial Management/Budget Specialist III within ourAFRCO team, you will:
  • Manage the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process
  • Perform analysis of program funding for all PPBE phases and other budget exercises
  • Research and analyze program funding and execution trends data from sources, like the Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
  • Develop cost estimating models, life cycle cost estimates, and independent government cost estimates
  • Perform cost/benefit analyses, affordability analyses, cost estimating drills, economic analyses, and other cost assessments as required
  • Hire, onboard, oversee time keeping, performance assessments, manage tasking, report, and oversee other contract staff
  • Mentor and provide quality review of work products and deliverables of more junior staff as well as leading specific projects
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, like accounting, business administration, contracts, economics, finance, law, purchasing, or related discipline
  • 4+ additional years experience may be used in lieu of a degree, contingent upon customer approval
  • Master's degree is preferred
  • 15+ years experience
  • Additional education or relevant higher level certifications may be used in lieu of experience, contingent upon customer approval
  • Special Access Program (SAP) experience.
  • Experience on similar types of programs may be used in lieu of SAP experience, contingent upon customer approval
  • Active and valid driver's license
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • The position requires a COVID vaccination or an approved accommodation/exemption for a disability/medical condition or religious belief

Required:
  • Ability to successfully complete a Government Counterintelligence Scope Polygraph (CI Poly)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Proficient in classified accounting systems

Preferred:
  • DAWIA or FAC Level III certified or equivalent is preferred
