Job Summary:
Westat is searching for a Drupal front-end developer to join our exciting, collaborative environment. The candidate will work with the Interaction Design team to produce top-notch, innovative digital solutions.

Job Responsibilities:
•    Develop and theme Drupal 9-based websites that are responsive and mobile adaptive.
•    Develop and implement user interfaces based on provided UX/UI wireframes, design compositions, and style guides.
•    Collaborate with designers, UX/Information Architect, study teams, and programmers to develop interactive products.
•    Craft quality code and solutions for maintainability and extensibility.
•    Participate in requirements gathering and offer solutions.
 
Basic Qualifications: 
•    An Associate degree with 3 plus years of experience with theming and module development in Drupal 8 and 9.
•    Experience with HTML5, CSS 3, JavaScript (ES6), jQuery and other front-end web development components. 

Preferred Qualifications:
•    Experience developing responsive and mobile adaptive websites.
•    Experience with version control systems, such as Git. 
•    Experience with frameworks and libraries a plus (React, Angular, VUE).
•    508 Compliance/Accessibility experience. 

Minimum Qualifications: 
•    Understanding of design and web production best practices, including (but not limited to) web usability standards, cross-browser compatibility, and building page templates. 
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills.
