DCS Corp is currently seeking an Engineer to provide support to our PM AAA customer and, specifically, the Amphibious Combat Vehicle program.

Essential Job Functions:

Plans, schedules, conducts, or coordinates detailed phases of engineering or scientific work in a project.

Performs work that involves conventional engineering or scientific practices.

Consults with stakeholders on technical applications to support program management decisions.

Comprehends Key Performance Indicators required for operations.

Accumulates data from primary and secondary data sources and maintains databases/data systems.

Filters and "scrubs" data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to locate and correct data problems.

Interprets data for manufacturing, analyzing results by applying statistical techniques and providing ongoing reports.

Conducts engineering and technical assessments to support technical reviews, such as Contract Data Requirement List submissions, Manufacturing Readiness Assessments, and Production Readiness Reviews.

Identifies and defines process improvement processes.

Supports technical findings, opinions, or recommendations.

Performs customer liaison.

Works with the customer to prioritize business and information needs.

Makes presentations.

Attends customer meetings.

Travel expected up to 25% of the time.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Physical Sciences, Math, or a related field. Four (4) years of related professional work experience in Manufacturing, Quality, and/or Industrial Engineering.

Secret level clearance is required.

Experience as a Process Engineer and/or Industrial Engineer in a manufacturing environment (e.g., Welding, Painting, Assembly, Acceptance Testing, etc.) is required.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

Knowledge of quality processes, quality assurance practices, industrial standards, and best practices (e.g., Department of Defense 4245.7-M, "Transition from Development to Production", etc.) to assess the Prime Contractor's approach to building a product.

Adept at conducting queries, writing associated reports, and presenting findings.

Experience with vehicle or mechanical systems.

Desired Skills:

Experience with Department of Defense Acquisition Category Level I programs is preferred.

Familiarity with product acceptance (DD Form 250) is preferred.
