DCS is looking for a Systems Acquisition Manager to work on-site with an Army Product Manager in Aberdeen, MD. Essential Job Functions: Creating, reviewing, and providing recommendations for PM acquisition programs, including participating in the development of program objectives, integrated master schedules, budget requests, strategies, program documentation, program briefings, business case analysis, acquisition planning, acquisition reporting, policy implementation and achievement of milestone objectives for PM products. Providing and updating briefing documentation for, and attend meetings associated with all acquisition aspects of PM products to include such meetings as IPTs; reviews leading to and including Milestone Decisions; product contractor reviews; Weapon System Reviews (WSRs); POM reviews; budget reviews. Coordinating actions and tasking's with DPNT Deputy Product Manager, functional leads, and operations for timely and accurate status and reporting.. These actions and tasks are a broad range to support acquisition and related efforts leading to Milestone C and future DPNT products. Provide briefing and updates, both oral and written, for acquisition and/or related activities to support status and flow of information throughout the DPNT organization. Developing or updating program documentation such as acquisition plans, acquisition strategies, and justification and authorizations (J&A). Assisting in the preparation of, and provide recommendations for, the formulation of short and long range strategies. Daily activities will include : Updating and Developing Acquisition Reporting including but not limited to Monthly Acquisition Reports, Program Management Reviews, PEO Acquisition Reporting. Developing ASP and Simplified Acquisition Management Plans for the Product Manager. Technical writing/review of Acquisition Documents. Utilize Agile Methodology tools and concepts to execute documentation development. Coordinate with Army Cross Functional Team to provide required information at the acquisition office level. Required Skills: Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. Bachelor's degree and 8 years of relevant experience required. Must have an active Secret level DoD clearance. Must have expert knowledge of the DoDI 5000.02.
