A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst in Herndon, Virginia (VA).Responsibilities include: * A Senior Financial Analyst will provide financial planning and analysis support for several business units * Prepare monthly analysis of revenue and cost variances to forecast, budget, and prior year * Develop monthly forecasts and annual budgets for revenue, cost, and headcount * Work with business partners to increase revenue, reduce costs, optimize resources, and improve profitability * A Senior Financial Analyst will evaluate P, headcount, margin, and customer volume trends * Develop, report and analyze various financial and non-financial KPIs * The Senior Financial Analyst will support business unit, product, customer profitability analysis, and product pricing decisions * Support business case development * A Senior Financial Analyst will build new financial models, maintain, and improve existing financial models * Support monthly accounting close * A Senior Financial Analyst will prepare insightful reports and presentations to Senior Management to help drive decision making and profitability improvement efforts * Document key financial processes, identify and implement process improvements * Support Corporate FP requests * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or relevant field and equivalent combination of education and experience; MBA preferred * Three to five years of relevant experience * To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed * Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
