C-P Flexible Packaging is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician Pay starting at $31.00/hour, increases at 90 days and every 9 months after. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, every other Saturday Night Shift 6pm-6am $5,000 SIGN ON BONUS WHAT YOU GET: * Up-to 96 Paid Vacation hours * 10 Paid Holidays per year * Shoe Reimbursement at 6-months * Pay increases at 90 days and every 270 days after * Perfect Attendance Bonus 2 x's year Other Benefits: * Spot Awards * Medical, dental, vision, and prescription 1st of the month following 30 days * 401(k) plan with generous company match * Bonus programs * Company-paid life and AD&D insurance, and short-term disability coverage * Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Job Functions & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): * Machine repair and preventative maintenance * Completion of PM requirements on motors, pneumatic systems, and production equipment * Installation assistance on capital projects * Modification and installation of equipment or process improvements * Installation and startup of equipment * Facilities maintenance, eg, building modifications, etc. * Ability to trouble shoot and repair mechanical and electrical breakdowns * Assist in maintaining parts and supplies inventory by reporting low supply levels * Must be able to work independently and adhere to established safety standards. * Interpret work instructions, work orders, read tape measure (standard and metric) and read other operational materials * Complete work order entry and close-out in the Maintenance work order system. * Other duties as assigned Qualifications: * Minimum 10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting required, and familiar with at least two or more of the following: electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic * Knowledge and experience troubleshooting and evaluating PLC's and drives is a must * Have tools/ well-stocked toolbox * Experience in industrial electrical panels, electrical machinery, and motor controls * Read/analyze/interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics, and service manuals to perform required maintenance and service * Ability to inspect equipment, recognize potential problems, and proactively take appropriate corrective action to prevent component failures, or equipment downtime. * Excellent oral and computer communication skills * Ability to work well with others * Ability to define and solve problems * Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays Physical Demands: * Lifting of up to 80 lbs. * Required to work at heights using ladders or lifts, or in confined spaces for short periods of time during equipment inspections and modifications. * Use of hand tools to repair machinery, grasping
