We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to a full-stack engineering team that transforms the way that employers and job seekers connect. Outline of the role's responsibilities: As part of the team, design and iteratively build solutions across a range of technical and business domains: from web experiences, to instant messaging to email relays to data pipelines, using back-end (Kotlin, Java, AWS stack) and front-end technologies (React, GraphQL) Support the team's systems in production and improve their observability, maintainability and reliability Collaborate with engineers in other teams working in recommendation space to create lean integrations and evolve recommendations ecosystem at large Who You Are As a Senior Engineer, you are passionate about solving highly complex engineering problems using data (the right data) to make informed decision insist on seeing the impact of your work every single day, iteratively building great products are collaborative and an effective communicator want to be an integral part of an organization that values innovation, diversity and impact (we also know how to have a good time too! #insideindeed) Requirements 5+ years experience with at least some of the technologies: Kotlin, Java, Python, React, GraphQL (full-stack preferred) An agile mindset (ie ship early, ship often, and iterate) and experience with CI/CD and iterative development Experience with working with recommenders and machine learning systems is nice to have Experience with service-oriented architectures and APIs Experience with working with recommenders and machine learning systems is nice to have BS in Computer Science or related area, or relevant work experience Who we are The Small to Medium Businesses (SMB) organization at Indeed develops products centered around the hiring needs of SMB businesses, making the hiring process simpler, faster and more effective so they always find the talent that is right for their business, when they need it. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees.
