As a Sr. Data Engineer-Data Catalog, you will be responsible for supporting the development of the Enterprise Data Catalog using Azure integration. You will be an active thought partner in the design and implementation of the Enterprise Data Catalog and will be responsible for recommending, developing, maintaining, and prioritizing business data management requirements and specifications. You will play a key role between the reporting teams, business areas, and Nestle technology teams to enhance the advanced analytics user experience. You will be the main technical contact responsible for creating the automated links between the data log applications and all of Nestle's ecosystems. Architect and provide solutions for custom integration requirements Build, manage, and curate a data catalog with metadata to enable the business to discover data assets Responsible for data profiling, data lineage and meta data management Work with product owners and data stewards to drive satisfaction with enterprise data governance Support and manage data quality Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field 7+ years of relevant IT experience required 1+ years of experience in Azure Cloud technologies (eg Azure Data Factory, Azure Function, Azure Synapse dedicated pool, DataBricks, Azure Analysis Service (AAS), Azure Synapse Serverless, Microservices/API, Python/PYSPARK and/or SQL) 1+ years of experience with at least one data catalog solution, preferably Alation. 1+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing using Azure Cloud architecture for data quality, data lineage and/or meta data management Requisition ID 191477 It is our business imperative to remain a very inclusive workplace.
