Position Description: The Integration Technician will work under limited supervision, performs moderately complex mechanical & minor electronic technician functions related to the support of development engineering activities such as test, checkout, fabrication, modification and assembly of electronics and Electro mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, prototype models or specialized test equipment. The integration technician will work independently as well as part of a team depending on size and scope of active projects Direct Responsibilities: Assist in the prototype integration of military communications systems in a variety vehicle and shelter platforms Performs layout, construction, assembly, troubleshooting, and repair of integrated systems Utilize hand tools or mechanical equipment to install/integrate into a variety of military vehicle and shelter/container systems. Work with engineering and fabrication teams on the completion of Rapid Prototyping efforts to meet program schedules . Qualifications: Mechanical Integration, maintenance and trouble shooting. Experience with hand tools, and mechanical machinery Experience supporting equipment or systems from diagrams, CAD drawing, etc. Experiencing supporting or servicing Military Communications Equipment is a plus Self-Starter with good communications skills Ideal Experience Requirements: 5 plus years of mechanical and electrical integration in production environment or Engineering Technician Experience in a Military Environment Experience with Communications Equipment & Systems both land and vehicle based is a plus.
