Job Summary/Company: Our client, a membership organization representing public health laboratories, is looking for an Associate Specialist, People and Culture to provide administrative support within all areas of human resources including benefits, compensation, employee engagement and talent acquisition. Qualified candidates will bring strong administrative experience and an interest in human resources.

Full vaccination (including booster) against COVID-19 is required.
Responsibilities:
  • Answering employee questions and concerns and providing information to employees related to the organization's benefits, policies and programs.
  • Processing new hire benefit elections and benefit changes due to qualified life events.
  • Reconciling and preparing invoices for payment.
  • Assisting with the administration of the annual open enrollment process. Processing COBRA enrollments for employees exiting the organization.
  • Advertising vacant jobs. Scheduling phone screens and interviews with candidates. Conducting background and reference checks. Preparing offer letters for candidates.
  • Scheduling new hire orientation and 90-day performance management trainings and interviews.
  • Generating benefit and employee reports in ADP and Power BI/HR Analytics.
  • Assisting with the planning, scheduling and executing of employee trainings.
  • Assisting in the planning and preparation of People & Culture sponsored events and activities.
Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience required. Preference given to candidates with experience in talent acquisition, benefits, employee relations and performance management.
  • Basic knowledge of employment, talent acquisition, benefits, and compensation regulations, practices and procedures.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams), ADP, iCIMS and Zoom.
