The Bookkeeper is in charge of data entry, full cycle A/P, and cash applications. On top of this, you will manage month-end closing, accounts receivable, reconciliation, and accounts payable. Located in Hunt Valley, Maryland, this Bookkeeper role will be a permanent opening.Major responsibilities- Arrange subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement- Plan monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents- Other assignments as requested- Maintain Accounts Payable- Capable in credit card management and reconciliation- Sort sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments- Familiar with Accounts Receivable- Aid with monthly accounting close- Manage general ledger- Direct monthly accounting close- Arrange cash flow projections, as needed Requirements - Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement- Microsoft Excel experience- Deep understanding of journal entries- Experience with QuickBooks- Expertise in general ledger- Basic Bookkeeping experience- Strong analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skills- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment, to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent- Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills- Skillful in analytical, quantitative and social skills- Highly organized and self-motivated - Prior accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
