We also offer a Competitive Salary, Excellent Benefits Package, Nurse Retention Bonus, Flex/Advance Pay, Tuition Reimbursement, Career Growth Ladder, Employee Referral Bonus Program, Employee Assistance, and a 401K Plan. $10,000 Sign-On Bonus Responsibilities: Manage and supervise Nursing staff within FutureCare's Dialysis Care Centers Facilitate on-going Nurse recruitment efforts and performance evaluations Manage nurse schedules, assign duties, handle paperwork, and perform upkeep of all patients' medical records Initiate performance evaluations and take disciplinary action as necessary on employees Responsible for ensuring that all dialysis centers remain within budgetary alignments Ensure all patients with guided supervision receive proper care and support Keep abreast on departmental or facility-wide policy changes and ensure compliance within the department Identify and plan prompt corrective action for any issues within the Dialysis Centers on safety measures, equipment, and systems Participate in Team Care Planning, Clinic CQI Programs and Risk Management Participates in quality improvement activities, patient care conferences and other clinical activates Maintain open communications with Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and other Healthcare Professionals regarding patient care Create, implement, and administer policies, procedures, and resources to ensure safe, appropriate treatment of patients Develops rapport with patients, family members, and hospital partners Address and manage patient concerns with care and sensitivity in an appropriately manner Actively encourage and is an example of open communication between physicians, patients, and nursing staff Qualifications: Must hold an active Registered Nurse license issued in the state of Maryland Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university required, Bachelor's degree strongly preferred Minimum of 2 years' experience required in management (healthcare, business, or military) or equivalent renal experience Minimum of 4 years' experience in dialysis preferred Current CPR License required (or obtained with 60 days of hire) for direct patient care Must possesses strong organizational skills, leadership abilities and clinical nursing knowledge Ability to learn other systems applicable to Clinical operations Good decision making and judgment skills Proven ability to manage and provide clear guidance and instructions to others Ability to identify and solve complex problems Must be socially perceptive and aware of the reactions of others and understanding those reactions Excellent communication skills both (written and oral) Proficient in MS Office Suite required
