Frequently support investigations and other pre-compliant efforts. Performs complex legal research for the trial staff. Performs extensive substantive document review and analysis of large volumes of factual material, and cull and synthesize the most relevant data to support the claims. Conduct database searches (name, term, phrase, simple/complex searches) in databases like Relativity or Concordance. Present findings in summaries, presentations (PPT slides).Support deposition, hearing, and/or trials.For active litigation, Law Clerks contribute to substantive case development including deep-dive document review, legal research, factual research, and US Expert support. Law Clerks support the litigation lifecycle, making substantive contributions on document review and analysis, discovery, deposition preparation, hearing support, internal presentations, pre-trial and trial support.More About the RolePerforms complex legal research for the trial staff. Proficient in conducting database searches (name, term, phrase, simple/complex searches) in databases like Relativity or Concordance.Presentation experience in providing summaries, presentations (PPT slides) Deposition, hearing, and/or trial support experienceRequires sound working knowledge of federal and state court systems, legal research procedures, and legal research resources.Requires excellent written and oral communication skills and thorough knowledge of legal research tools such as LEXIS and Westlaw.
