Responsibilities: Qualified candidate will become part of Peraton's Department of State (DoS) Diplomatic Security Cyber Mission (DSCM) program providing leading cyber and technology security experience to enable innovative, effective and secure business processes. Peraton's DSCM program encompasses technical, engineering, data analytics, cyber security, management, operational, logistical and administrative support to aid and advise DoS Cyber & Technology Security (CTS) Directorate. This includes protecting a global cyber infrastructure comprising networks, systems, information, and mobile devices all while identifying and responding to cyber risks and threats. Those supporting Peraton's DSCM program strive to leverage their expert knowledge and propose creative solutions to real-world cybersecurity challenges. The Senior Cyber Architect role will be located in Rosslyn, VA. This role supports the Directorate of Cyber and Technology Security (CTS). Position Description:Provides design, architecture, and engineering technical direction and leadership.Recommends solutions for security problems in existing systems or systems in development.Applies or assists with application of formal methods in security architecture, security system design and engineering, and security technology integration and deployment. Participates in security tests and evaluations, studies and experiments. Conducts technical and management briefings. Provide vision and technical leadership over customer mission segments and strategic capability area.Serve as key interface to senior customer technical stakeholders.Define near term and long term technical strategies for customer mission segments and strategic capability area, including development of technical roadmaps. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications- To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 12 years of related technical experience required. Active Top Secret security clearance is required.Experience in IT, cyber security, and/or other projects related to critical network infrastructure protectionExperience in IT Cloud based security infrastructure protection.Experience in cyber security system or solution design, engineering, evaluation, integration and/or deployment.Experience leading teams of diverse technical and functional personnel to deliver highly complex solutions. For Colorado Residents: Colorado Salary Minimum: $106,100 Colorado Salary Maximum: $257,600 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees.
