A$ A' "A' ?BlackRock Resources is seeking a Pre-Construction Manager for our client in Frederick, MD. This is a direct hire opportunity with competitive salary and great benefits!Job duties:Oversee and direct the CAD team, attend all project CAD meeting and be the voice in modeling geared towards our clients best practices to create a LEAN installation code compliant set of drawings.Coordinates the pre-construction calendar and schedules activities of the project team to meet schedule dates.Participate in project decisions regarding technical approaches, bag/tag/prefabrication, scheduling, and performance.Review submittals for compliance with project specifications, drawings and needs for final bulk buy connections order.Conduct weekly pre-construction conferences, with the project team. Lead the construction team through the duration of pre-construction, planning and scheduling phase.Leads and develops prefabrication efforts.Will have responsibility to schedule the "hand off"A' meeting to the field once the pre-construction is all "green."A' Work with the PM and Superintendents to develop pre-construction recovery schedules on projects that have gotten off schedule.Collaborate with operations, business development, pre-construction team members and other stakeholders to ensure projects are turned over for success with the expected level of profitabilityReview proposal specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and required contents of the cost estimate.Lead document control and organization through the pre-construction/planning process.Review design options as part of a project team to find solutions based on cost, engineering quality, or availability of materials geared towards producing LEAN construction drawingsWork alongside other team members, develop conceptual project schedules and logistical plans to inform the pre-construction and planning process.Works alongside field crew in building trade specific gang boxes to eliminate field downtime.Review current company logistics processing and implement change.Audit monthly, stocked inventory and work along side the manager of cost and logistics.Create a count of stock and returned rough materials from job sites.Coordinate and oversee all warehouse operations.Ensure that all of our clients vehicles meet DOT guidelines, maintains required logs, and reports, and keeps vehicles and warehouse equipment in good working order.Oversee warehouse staff by ensuring daily work logs are completed accurately and efficiently.Ensures that health and safety requirements and procedures are followed.Responsibility for the security of the building and stock.Ensure warehouse and surrounding areas are clean, organized and handles all maintenance concerns/issues.Track job site equipment rentalsTrack tool rentals and maintains log. Inspect and fill out all tool QC sheets when returned to inventory. Schedule repairs as necessary.Responsible for companywide tool purchasesControls inventory levels by directing bi-weekly cycle counts; reconciles.Fulfills material orders received from Purchasing Agent.Document receipt and accuracy of incoming materials and equipment to verify accuracy and condition of all orders; ensures proper document recording and data entry into software.Coordinate/schedule material returns.Maintain stored materials log by job and upload packing slips and pictures to SharePoint, Financial, Billings, Stored Materials by month, the same day the product is received.
