A$ A' "A' ?Principle Automation Network Engineer- Cloud - AWS & Azure - SDWAN to provide technical engineering support for the FBI's highly complex network infrastructure environment to include multiple enclaves comprising various classification levels. Will work with a core network team responsible for the network modernization of the FBI's network enterprise. The modernization will leverage new networking technology to improve efficiency, automation, and provide new network capabilities. An 8-hour work shift spanning the business operations hours of 6:00am to 6:00pm.200,000 GREAT PAY AND BENEFITS Position Requirements: Active Top Secret Clearance, with the ability to obtain SCI Location: 2-3 Days Remote - Perform work at the customer location in Quantico, VACore Responsibilities: Development, design, test, and implement the new network architectureConduct network planning, design, and initial implementation of new network project initiatives.Part of network engineering team to validate network design as per customer specifications Provide Tier 3 technical support for diagnosing/resolving network related issues that occur during the implementation of those networks;Provide engineering/deployment support during the implementation and turn up of new network nodes and related connectionDesired Qualifications: Minimum of 12 years of telecommunications experienceMinimum of 7 years of Core network services connectivity and integration experienceBS/BA or equivalent experience or subject matter expertise in the service being providedCisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or higherExtensive experience with Cisco routing platforms, such as Aggregation Services Routers (ASRs), and Integrated Service Routers (ISRs)Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of routing protocols and technologies including BGP, EIGRP, DMVPN, GREDemonstrated in-depth knowledge of Layer 2 technologies including STP, MST, VLANSDemonstrated experience in overseeing and troubleshooting complex Local Area Networking (LAN) issues and resolving Wide Area Networking (WAN) problems and implementing, integrating, and supporting of cost-effective, high-performance IP and LAN/WAN solutions.Experience providing Tier 3 support and issue resolutionExperience with network design and traffic engineeringExperience providing senior-level engineering support and subject matter expertiseLarge enterprise environment experienceExcellent communication skillsPreferred Additional Skills and Qualifications: Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and work experience with AWS and Azure cloud solutionsDemonstrated experience providing technical leadership and training to lower level network engineers.
