A$ A' "A' ?As a Senior Electrical Engineer at Sonosa you will be responsible for development of critical elements of Sonosa's core ultrasound technologies and product pipeline. With a focus on quality, you will develop and optimize electrical systems for wearable ultrasound devices. Your primary role will include developing and implementing of high and low level hardware requirements, circuit designs, testing protocols, system integration, and verification.QualificationsBS in Electrical or Biomedical Engineering (MS/PhD preferred).5+ years of relevant industry experience, preferably in ultrasound system design.Experience designing, fabricating, and testing circuits for high-speed analog and digital signals, high speed processors (eg MCUs, CPUs, FPGAs), wireless communication, power supplies, and battery charging/monitoring systems.Experience with relevant software tools and environments for simulation, planning, EDA/ECAD, testing, debugging, and embedded programming.Proficiency with one or more programming languages (C/C++, python, MATLAB, etc).Knowledge of signal processing and algorithm development.Familiarity with medical imaging hardware, preferably ultrasound.Knowledge or experience in applying relevant industry standards IPC, IEC, ISO and FDA.Experience creating detailed design documentation (specifications, design descriptions, verification, and testing plans).Essential Job FunctionsSimulate, design, fabricate, and test complex circuits beginning with prototypes and transitioning to optimized, production-ready designs.Coordinate internal and external teams across multiple technical disciplines and clinical specialties to establish system-wide design requirements.Organize and maintain detailed design documentation compliant with relevant international standards.Plan, implement, and track development timelines, responding to progress within and between subsystems and simultaneous projects.Effectively communicate complex technical concepts and updates to technical and non-technical team members.Work independently and collaboratively in a small, multidisciplinary team to advance project and company objectives.
