Westat is currently seeking a Training Coordinator to work with our Office Automation Systems (OASys) team Monday-Friday (8:30 am- 5:00 pm) in our Rockville, MD office.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide assistance and training to end-users for Westat applications in various methods (e.g. classroom, one on one, and remote training).
  • Assist team members in other departments in identifying technology training needs and creating methods for proper instruction.
  • Assist in training documentation, instructions, and other materials as needed.
  • Participate in the training team conference calls and/or smaller working groups to prepare for upgrades, new technology, and the learning process.
  • Assist in Creating trainings designed to promote learning, administered via classes, demonstrations, or one-on-one.
  • Assist with staff Onboarding and off-boarding processes.
  • Support Walk-in needs or route them accordingly.


Job Requirements:
The successful candidate should possess excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken, for reporting call information and communicating with respondents, home office staff, and field staff.
·    Candidates must be able to exercise sound judgment in various situations, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, and excellent attention to detail. 
·    Have strong technical skills using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Skype, and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and WebEx. 
·    Demonstrated ability to work independently on projects and follow up as needed, to multi-task, and prioritize work while meeting team objectives
·    Must have customer service experience
·    At least two years of post-secondary education (e.g., an associate's degree or at least two years towards a bachelor's degree) are required.
