ORGANIZATION
The Kingsbury Wellness & Learning Group is the place where education and mental health meet, and our vision is that all families have access not just to our services, but to what those services unlock. We support families throughout the process of identifying their children’s needs, gaining diagnostic clarity, and securing ongoing intervention with regard to learning and mental health.
We have a broad range of therapeutic and educational expertise that allows us to serve children and adults with complex needs. Our psychologists have been serving families throughout the Mid-Atlantic region for decades, and we continue to provide neuropsychological assessments, psychotherapy, and consultation of the highest quality.

POSITION
We are seeking clinical psychologists with skills in comprehensive neuropsychological assessment and/or psychotherapy. Eligible candidates may have a preference for one or both services. Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in learning and development, and be comfortable serving a diverse group of families. Psychologists may work with both private pay clients and those in disadvantaged populations who receive our community services. These different access points naturally create a wide range of clinical needs and concerns.

We expect each psychologist to add to our pool of expertise while still adopting our philosophy of clinical practice. Our approach to assessment is comprehensive; we believe that the best practice is to understand the whole person, and our evaluations are known to be thorough and accessible. Therapy is oriented around the family, and most of our cases involve frequent consultation with parents. We also communicate frequently with physicians, teachers, attorneys, and advocates to provide the best all-around care. Psychologists from diverse clinical
backgrounds and who can provide services in multiple languages are encouraged to apply. Each psychologist is expected to demonstrate ownership of his/her therapeutic orientation while also maintaining competence in a variety of psychological interventions. All Kingsbury psychologists are expected to have basic foundations in psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and family interventions.

Specific Requirements
● License to practice as a clinical psychologist in Maryland
● Licensed to practice as a clinical psychologist in DC preferred, expected to apply if taking the position
● Availability to provide sessions in-person (in our Silver Spring office) and remotely
● After-school in-person availability (i.e., 4pm-7pm)
