Title: Staff AccountantClearance: N/ALocation: McLean, VA/RemoteOverview:IntelliBridge is an award-winning business with an immediate opening for Staff Accountant.As an instrumental member of the Accounting and Finance organization, the Staff Accountant will be responsible for supporting the timeliness and quality of consolidated financial statements, FAR/DCAA and US GAAP compliance.Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:ResponsibilitiesThe Staff Accountant reports to the Assistant Controller and supports the entire accounting operations.Operations *Supports and performs daily accounting operations including fixed assets, treasury management, general ledger accounting and consolidated financial reporting. *Creates monthly required ledger entries, account reconciliations and supporting analyses while ensuring compliance with GAAP standards and FAR regulatory requirements.*Supports banking activity and weekly cash flow management.*Proven ability to respond and document technical accounting guidance to support annual fiscal audit.*Assist with financial audits, including interaction/correspondence with external agencies including DCAA, IRS, outside CPA firms, and other regulatory agencies.*Supports annual Incurred Cost Submission.Compliance*Support state and federal filings, including R tax credits. Assist preparation of tax and other government filings.*Maintain compliance with government contracting standards and requirements.*Research technical accounting issues.Required Skills and Qualifications:*Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.*CPA preferred, but not required.*Experience in Gov/Con sector is a must.*Costpoint experience required.*Ability to interpret and implement technical accounting and financial reporting requirements.*Support and document technical interpretation in response to fiscal and/or contractual audit. *Working knowledge of US GAAP, ASC 606 - Revenue Recognition, FAR and CAS regulations.*Advanced experience using Microsoft Office (eg Excel, Word, PowerPoint).*Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.*Excellent written and verbal and communication skills.*Ability to meet communicated schedules and deadlines.*Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to define problems, collect data to establish facts, draw valid conclusion and report on findings for resolution.*Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses*Analytical ability to develop and implement improvements or recommendations.*High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
