Responsibilities: We are seeking for a qualified Systems Administrator. This position is onsite, and will be working with the team in our Martinsburg, West Virginia location. This person will maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers. Monitors and manages system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency. Performs systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts. Other duties may include setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources. May be assigned responsibility for less experienced staff. Areas of responsibility may include, but are not limited to: Activities related to the maintenance, repair and modification of equipment, controls/communications.Performs specialized engineering work related to building and facilities operations and maintenance. Troubleshoots the more complex system outages and provides second tier support to more junior staff.Controls inventory of spare parts to provide maximum uptime on all equipment.Assists in the development of maintenance programs and performs routine preventive maintenance according to plan.Advises management on building / facility engineering matters, including compliance with federal/state laws and regulations.May participate in preparing, negotiating and administering contracts for specialized facilities maintenance work.May be required to travel to field sites for facility maintenance purposes.This will be a client facing position requiring good communication skills.
