We have an open-door policy to provide excellent service to our clients. Our full-service veterinary hospitals offer state-of-the-art care for our patients. Our newest extended-hour hospital in Clarendon is located near TWO metro stops and offers free on-site parking. The primary role of all Caring Hands Animal Hospital employees is to ensure that our clients and patients experience top-notch customer service and patient care. The Licensed Technician's responsibilities include: Medical care of animals including advanced nursing care techniques, restraint, radiographs, phlebotomy, lab work, etc. Perform dental prophylaxis and radiographs. Anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery. Assist in medical, surgical and dental procedures. Properly care for all surgical materials; maintain hospital equipment and inventory. Prepare and maintain the surgery room, ICU area, exam rooms and treatment areas. Data entry via Electronic Medical Record system Prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a calm, organized manner. Client Education. Maintain a clean and orderly facility. Uphold positive, cooperative relationships with other employees. COMPREHENSIVE BENEFITS PACKAGE, Including: Walking distance from Metro. HOURS / WORK SCHEDULE Full-time position available. We offer morning, evening, and Saturday shifts. All potential new hires are required to pass a criminal background check and drug test. COMPENSATION Salary commensurate with experience, starting at $25/hour
