Job Description: As a Project Coordinator/Scheduler, you will be responsible for scheduling, participating in, influencing, communicating, and negotiating efforts concerning the VA Electronic Health Records Modernization project within staff leadership, workstream leads, Subject Matter Experts (SME) and associated internal/external stakeholders. Exercise project management responsibilities with respect to the accomplishment of knowledge management support services for assigned project areas. As support to the overall project your task work may come from a government lead, a Project Manager, or a Functional Manager. You will assist with meeting arrangements and tracking actions items along with varies other activities. Typical responsibilities include: Manage and track a schedule for over 1500 VA medical facilities. Research discrepancies to resolve issues and conflicts with the schedule.Plan, coordinate, manage, share, and control information while working with government leads, project managers, SMEs, and any other applicable stakeholders to ensure that resources and schedules are synchronized to execute the deployment processes and timeline.Assist with risk management support including deliverables and work products related to site risk identification, risk evaluation, risk mitigation development and execution, risk tracking/reporting, and other project risk management activities, as required.Assist with budget preparation, project plan development/updates and execution of interagency agreements.Disseminate information for discussion and quality decision making. Develop and establish short, mid, and long-range objectives and priorities for approval by management.Leverage continuous process improvement techniques to improve mission and business processes, enhancing access to relevant cross- functional information in a collaborative, timely, and contextual manner.Promote organizational lessons learned information as a reusable, shared, protected, consistent, and compliant resource.
