Lead Merchandise Replenishment Analyst NF3
Manages replenishment processes from the vendor and item set-up to sales and inventory analysis. Partners with buyers to ensure all components of process are accurately set from fill-to rates and weeks of supply to cycle time and vendor lead time. Maintains surveillance over financial plans, in conjunction with buyer, by monitoring order generation and the impact to inventory levels and OTB. Responsible for defining, implementing and maintaining consistent methodology to effectively execute process.
Serves as the Lead Replenishment Analyst, relaying instructions from the Replenishment and Analysis Manager, initiating key tasks, establishing work cadence and managing team deadlines. Demonstrates work methods, and provides work-related guidance. Ensures worksite materials and tools are available to complete work. Keeps process manager apprised of all issues. Monitors work and meets productivity goals. Ensures employees follow security, safety and housekeeping rules. Responsible for solving problems with varying degrees of difficulty. Conducts on-the-job training and maintains procedures/instructions. Serves as a leader in the section and will perform supervisory duties on an emergency, or short-term and nonrecurring basis.
Review historical data and current trends to identify opportunities by line of business, department, item, command and/or site. Responsible for administration and set up of all replenishment items. Maintain data integrity on existing styles by validating accuracy with all set up components (vendor, class, style, cost/retail). Implement strategies and apply analytical findings to determine new styles to add and old styles to delete from replenishment.
Monitor exception reports and communicate recommendations to buyer in order to maximize item(s). Review data on a predetermined cycle. Continually monitors effectiveness of review cycles and make recommendations to change if necessary. Recommend programmatic plans, alternative courses of action, policies and future strategies to support goals and objectives.
Exercises analytical ability, judgment, discretion, and apply a thorough knowledge of management principles, practices, methods and techniques to continuously analyze accuracy of replenishment process. Recommends improvements to procedures. Manage multiple work assignments simultaneously or as prioritized.
Gathers pertinent data to evaluate needs; conduct records research, review reports, regulations and directives. Makes recommendations on corrective actions and conduct follow up inspections. Plans, develops and prepares analysis for current and projected programs to achieve goals and objectives. Collect, verify and adjust data from diverse sources and perform qualitative analysis manually and through automated systems. Evaluate quantitative results and consult with subject matter experts to identify significant factors, relationships and trends to produce accurate and meaningful data.
