Job#: 1252322 Job Description: Apex Systems is looking to hire a Lead Configuration Manager for one of our government clients! Position: Lead Configuration Manager Location: Herndon, VA (Hybrid) Clearance: TS/SCI, or SCI eligible Hours: 9AM-5PM (with Flex) As the Lead Configuration Manager, you will be responsible to supervise and direct other team members, and manage daily tasks which may include the establishment of work assignments and priorities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Implementing change control activities and performing administration and maintenance of configuration management (CM) solutions. Oversees configuration and change management for the Systems Integration Team Write Change Request Forms in support of and facilitate customer-led Engineering Review Boards and Configuration Control Boards. Work with engineering / technical teams to document baseline infrastructures, and Board approved changes within a Configuration Management Data Base Ensure engineering / technical teams implement Board approved changes Facilitate audits, related to configuration management Conduct Change Request design reviews, audits, and scheduling for the CM Functional Teams. Leads development and implementation of computer-based configuration, data management systems and electronic data systems, and electronic data support. Leads development and design efforts related to configuration/data management documentation. Basic Qualifications: BS degree in Engineering Management, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical or related field + 15 years of experience Master's degree + 12 years of experience Experience leading and coordinating teams in excess of 50 people. Preferred Qualifications: SAFe Agile and Security+ Certifications Extensive knowledge of systems engineering principles as applied to Configuration Management requirements defined in Army Regulations and industry standards Ability to apply CM fundamentals relative to implementation/maintenance of organizational configuration management processes involving Management and Planning, Configuration Identification, Configuration Control, Configuration Status EEO Employer Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
