Reporting into the Senior Manager of Marketing Analytics, the Digital Marketing Analyst will provide analytic and operational support to drive marketing effectiveness across Nestle USA's 30+ brands. Leveraging a strong comfort with data and a proven proficiency in the systems used to generate analysis, they will take a lead technical role in the measurement, reporting and optimization of marketing communications across website, social media, CRM/email and paid media channels. By analyzing complex data, ensuring sound marketing operations and generating insightful reporting, the Digital Marketing Analyst will enable data-driven decision making that will shape Nestle's customer experience marketing strategy. And through strong understanding of Nestle's business, solid communication skills and an ability to drive change, they will collaborate and partner with brand managers, agency partners, senior managers and other key stakeholders to see strategic recommendations through to completion. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Works with NUSA's 30+ brand teams to produce analysis and reporting that enhances marketing communications plans across paid, website, email and social channels, such as by reporting on website performance, overseeing AB testing and optimization, reporting on CRM/email, building insightful dashboards, and designing learning plans to improve brand communications. Collaborates with enterprise analytics and other IT partners to gain proficiency with NUSA marketing technology, translate marketing needs into technical requirements, operationalize data flows and establish the reporting structures needed to produce insightful analysis. Elevates NUSA's understanding of the consumer experience by collecting and analyzing 1st, 2nd and 3rd party data sources, and then generating consumer and product insights to be shared with brand teams, digital marketing strategists, and Consumer Marketplace Insights. Supports marketing effectiveness across Nestle by producing and maintaining holistic business reporting, including identification of key performance indicators, tracking against marketing goals and setting brand and channel benchmarks. REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL: Bachelor's degree, preferably in a business, quantitative, economics or computer science field 1-3 years of experience in marketing analytics, business analytics, digital marketing, IT/data management or consulting Master's Degree a plus and counted toward work experience DESIRED EXPERIENCE: Experience in digital marketing, marketing measurement or business analytics (eg report generation and automation, marketing campaign analysis, web analytics, AB testing, email performance, social analytics, etc.) Experience working with a range of reporting platforms, analytics tools and data management systems used to manipulate, transform and analyze marketing data (examples: advanced Excel, SQL, PowerBI, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager) Experience leveraging datasets to produce impactful dashboards and other visually compelling reports. Experience interpreting data, identifying key recommendations and partnering with marketing strategists to implement changes that drive business performance. ADDITIONAL PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Experience in using Google Analytics (or equivalent) and Google Tag Manager to configure website reporting, evaluate performance and derive actionable insights. Solid communication skills and ability to communicate data-driven findings in written and presentation forms.
