Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in McLean, VA.Duties Include: * Senior Financial Analyst will produce monthly reporting packages for both internal and Parent Company stakeholders; Supporting accounting team during monthly close process, including review of monthly revenue, updating backlog reporting, and distribution of opex results to department leads * Works with all Sales and BD staff to help analyze revenue deals, analyze shortfalls, etc. * Prepares quarterly and year-end "prepared by client" (PBC) materials for the external auditors, primarily analysis of revenue and opex variances * With Finance Analyst, produces monthly EBITDA outlook including revenue and opex forecasting for inclusion in the Parent company's (Intelsat) monthly revenue and ops review meetings * As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will help lead the business plan process for Revenue and Opex, including Cost of Sales; Work with Intelsat Corporate FP counterparts to develop full company Annual Operating and Five-Year Business Plan * Work with staff who modify reports using the ERP system to properly reflect actual and budget data stored in the company's ERP system (MS Dynamics SL) * Support financial component of business cases for Product Teams and coordinate with the Parent company's Strategy team in support requirements in satellite business cases * Provide support for proposals and other requests from engineering, sales, and contracts including cash flow modeling and pricing for efforts such as RFPs * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, with at least 10 years of work experience, preferably in FP at a large government contractor; MBA a plus * Excellent Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to manipulate data, create reports and develop spreadsheets, charts, and tables, including pivot tables and advanced formulas * Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze, validate and synthesize complex financial data and communicate succinct conclusions and recommendations * Outstanding interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization * Excellent organizational and prioritization skills Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
