Principal Associate, Travel & Expense Management

As our change management/communications lead, the Principal Associate leading the Payment and Travel Help (PATH) team will facilitate our cardholder/traveler engagement strategy, incorporating change management principles to optimize overall message distribution. This role will not only oversee the Payment and Travel Help (PATH) team and the Salesforce tool used for help desk queries, but will also play an integral role in the communication of any process and/or product changes. This role will monitor performance through both data analysis and customer feedback, identifying opportunities to more proactively engage with the T&E customer base to improve our end-to-end processes.

There are a number of projects and initiatives that are expected to impact this team's work, so a successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to be successful in a constantly changing environment - while also helping to lead his/her team through change.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement and monitor customer feedback loop to drive process improvements and mitigate risks
  • Ensure that the enterprise adheres to Travel and Expense spend guidelines, in accordance with all applicable standards and management controls
  • Reduce number of help desk questions coming through PATH, but identifying process challenges and championing solutions
  • Lead branding efforts of T&E initiatives across Finance and broader enterprise, partnering with Line of Business communication leads and communities to optimize communication channels
  • Optimize usage of Salesforce as a case management tool, while advocating tool usage across other parts of the team that could benefit from existing functionality
  • Provide subject matter expertise on processes and industry standards when representing the department in projects and other meetings
  • Lead and develop a high performing team of associates and contractors.
  • Drive performance through ongoing goal setting, results measurement, individual and team development and talent identification and deployment


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 2 years of Project Management and/or Program Management experience
  • At least 3 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal business clients


Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of Project Management experience leading cross functional projects and programs
  • At least 1 year of communication and/or copywriting experience
  • PMP Certification or Masters Certificate of Project Management (CPM)
  • CCMP or Change Management Training
