Job Summary/Company:

A Sparks Group Partner is seeking a Tech Support Specialist/Systems Administrator to join their team. The Specialist will serve as SME on functional and technical aspects of the platform. This is a hybrid position; candidate must be flexible and able to go onsite when needed. The site locations are Dallas, TX and Winston-Salem, NC.   • Develop technical solution designs for integration projects
  • Develop technical specifications for software vendor in development of new functions and features
  • Coordinate the deployment of software and configure per project requirements
  • Work with Quality Assurance to ensure quality of software deliverable
  • Assist support teams with troubleshooting production issues and escalate to vendor as necessary

Qualifications/Background Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in development and support of distributed financial services transaction processing platforms
  • Solid understanding of distributed client server architecture
  • Strong knowledge of UNIX/LINUX commands, shell scripting, and database queries (troubleshooting as well as data patching)
  • COVID-19 vaccine: must be fully vaccinated to go onsite
