Job Summary:Baroody Camps, Inc. provides before- and after-school enrichment programs and summer camps to school children in various counties throughout the DMV area. We provide opportunities to manage and teach programs. We are looking for individuals who are interested in managing and teaching elementary school children before- or after-school in cooking.The Cooking Program Manager position is an administrative management position responsible for enrichment programs and camps throughout the year. This includes creating/designing curriculum, planning programs, preparing marketing materials, teaching programs, managing on-site programs daily and communicating with parents, school staff and Baroody Camps Management.Responsibilities and Duties:Remote working and on-site at schools, rec centers, or in an officeCreating and designing programs/curriculum for elementary school aged childrenAssisting in the planning and scheduling of classes and programsPreparing content for marketing materials for programs (flyers, catalogs, email updates)Monitoring registration for schoolsInventory and maintenance of program equipment and ingredientsPreparing and facilitating equipment and ingredients for instructorsCommunicating with parents, school staff, instructors and Baroody Camps staff.Marketing and outreach to other markets to expand businessExpectations:8 hours per day, 5 days per week; 6 hours in the office, 2 hours as a Program Instructor per program (see separate job description)Complete tasks and responsibilities in an efficient mannerCommunicate directly with Director of Operations & OwnerQualifications and Skills:Must have at least one (1) year of experience with cookingMust be eligible to work in the United States; must be 21 years or older with a college degree.Must pass background checks conducted by Baroody Camps and school county regulations.Attention to detail and high level of organizationStrong listening abilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsFlexibility and willingness to adapt to different situationsWorks well under pressureComputer skills requiredMust have own transportationTraining:CPR/AED/First Aid Certification, provided.Medication Administration Training (MAT), provided.In office training / On the job training
