Georgetown Hill Early School is a non-profit school serving Maryland families' preschool, elementary, and child care needs since 1980. Our mission is to join together teachers, children and their families to create an unsurpassed early childhood educational experience. We are seeking Preschool Directors and Administrators to join our campus leadership team. Ultimate location placement will depend upon the candidates' strengths balanced with other campus leaders across the organization. Your role will be to effectively manage and run a busy preschool campus that aligns with our organizational core values. What You Will Do: Demonstrate effective leadership among organizational and campus leaders, and among campus level staff Facilitate the creation of a nurturing and warm school environment for all present Manage and facilitate the day to day operations of a busy preschool campus Manage and facilitate the enrollment of a campus including marketing efforts, managing the campus CRM module, giving tours to prospective families, and following through on company protocol for enrolling new families Manage all employees at a campus including hiring/firing, background checks, onboarding, creating in-ratio staffing patterns, professional development, disciplinary action, payroll protocol, and supporting positive staff morale Read, interpret, and implement all MSDE and OCC rules to ensure a campus is within regulation; this includes maintaining and/or accelerating MSDE accreditation and EXCELS ratings Appropriately delegate work to employees and following up on said work in a timely and constructive manner Maintain and respect confidentiality of student, family, colleague, and school information, and other sensitive data, in accordance with company policy and applicable law Why You'll Love Us: We offer the following benefits: Health Insurance with an employer-funded health reimbursement account (HRA) Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Short-Term Disability Term Life Insurance 401(k) & Roth 401(k) with up to 4% annual employer match Medical Flexible Spending Account Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account Flexible Schedules Sick Leave Personal Leave Holiday Pay Employee Discount on Tuition Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Eligible Employer We are committed to providing an inclusive environment that ensures the happiness and success of each of our employees, as well as the families and children who put their trust in us. Requirements Our ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant experience and the following credentials/skills: Bachelor's Degree degree in education or related field. Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and teaching methods Strong knowledge of MSDE regulations A personal demeanor that is warm, friendly, and cool-tempered Proficient technological skills to utilize various productivity tools Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including grammar and reading skills Extremely reliable in attendance and punctuality Highly organized and able to prioritize and multi-task Team-oriented and willing to work with others Per Maryland State Department of Education Office of Child Care regulations, all applicants must submit to and successfully pass a state and federal background check as a contingency of employment.
