FP&A Consultant - Hybrid Opportunity in McLean, VA! About the Company and Opportunity: Our client is a government contractor in McLean, VA looking to bring on a FP&A Consultant to work hybrid due to a vacancy. Overview of the FP&A Consultant role: Plan, schedule, execute annual budgeting process Improve financial performance through analysis of financial results, forecasts, variances, and trends Create recommendations to be presented to management and executives Develop financial models to support valuation, planning, and forecasting Aid in the capital budgeting and expenditure planning processes Conduct comparable analysis and market research to support internal financial analysis Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking Gather & analyze/model financial data, trends & forecasts and recommend actions for optimization Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews Develop standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel/ Power BI/ or other business intelligence dashboards, automated reporting/forecasting tools Work closely with the Controller and accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting Perform other duties as needed Preferred Qualifications for the FP&A Consultant: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related degree 10+ years of progressive FP&A experience Advanced Excel Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills #CFSAUG2022
